About the Event
This will be an introduction to Bujinkan Ninjutsu. In this course, we will be looking at the practical applications of the concepts we learn in Ninjutsu and how these can be applied in a self-defence situation.
In this course, we will cover:
- Rolling and basic defensive body movement.
- Stances and why we use them.
- Basic striking and strike defence.
- Practical grappling techniques i.e. wrist escapes.
- Basic use and defence against weapons.
The course will cost £20 for the 4-week course, payable at the end of the first session. You can pay either in cash or by bank transfer.
You will need to be at least 18 years old. There are Bujinkan practitioners in their 80s, so you will not need a high level of fitness, but we do roll, so you will need to be on and off the floor unassisted. If you are unsure, please speak to a medical professional and for more details, you can contact me at hadrian@bujinkanreading.co.uk
You should wear loose-fitting clothes and comfortable shoes such as trainers. Please bring a water bottle.
